
Mr. Moore has been a member of the DSI’s Chicago office staff since 1985. Mr. Moore has 20 years experience in the manufacturing industry including plant management, production control, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, and tool and die designing in both high volume and job shop environments. He has completed various courses and seminars on environmental issues and the regulation, handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous substances.
Mr. Moore's more recent assignments include: consultant for the Chapter 11 Trustee of a major machine tool company, and the appointment as Chief Operating Officer for a stamping and assembly company and for one of the largest RV manufacturers, both reorganizing under Chapter 11. Mr. Moore worked with the staff to finish work-in-process units, to sell the finished goods, to negotiate the sale of the companies, and generally to ensure an orderly transition during the reorganization process.
Mr. Moore has been an active member of the American Society for Metals International since 1979.
