Mr. Farnsworth rejoined DSI in 2009 after a two-year hiatus during which he earned his Masters of Business Administration. Mr. Farnsworth’s areas of expertise include operational and human resource management, budgeting and schedules, cash management, preferential and fraudulent transfer analysis, tangible asset valuation, estate closures, and final collections of remaining estate accounts receivable.
Since originally joining DSI in 2001, Mr. Farnsworth has been directly involved in organizing the orderly wind down and sale of businesses, maximizing the value of estate assets, and corresponding with creditors. He provides support, in the areas of both operations and finance, to ongoing DSI engagements including Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, and Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors. Some of these cases include MVP.com, Inc., L.D. Brinkman, Edgewater Medical Center, Jillian’s Entertainment, Horizon Natural Resources, and Telenisus Corporation.
Mr. Farnsworth received a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Forest College.
