Brian Murphy joined the Miami office of DSI in early 2009, bringing with him a background in finance and accounting that he has already put to use in such engagements as Dreier, LLP, Solar Cosmetics and Promenade at Doral II, a Florida real estate development.
Prior to joining DSI, Mr. Murphy was an analyst at Archon Group, L.P., a Goldman Sachs company, in Dallas, Texas and Boca Raton, Florida. While at Archon Group, Mr. Murphy performed cash flow analysis and budgeting for investment opportunities, financial statement analysis and investment analysis on distressed real estate loans, corporate loans and REITs for acquisition. He also created a proprietary cash flow model to consolidate and summarize portfolio acquisition information and coordinated operational due diligence with third party consultants.
Mr. Murphy is a Level III Candidate for his Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He received his B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Miami in 2006.
